Most of my activities in Europe have been in Switzerland where I have done several hikes over the years organised by various aluminium industry friends especially my good friend Bruno Boehm. In 2011 I also did part of the Cornwall South Coast walk which follows the old coast guard track developed in the middle ages to combat smuggler activity in an area which (at the time) would have been a remote part of the British Isles.
